Importance of the Project for the Republic of Belarus

Expected Project Outputs:

1. Procurement of capital for realization of projects in the field of energy efficiency and renewable energy resources in Belarus. It will contribute to implementation of The Strategy of the Energy Security of the Republic of Belarus Energy and President"s Directive N 3 “Economy and Thrift as the Main Factors of Economic Security of the State”;
2. International co-operation for development in energy efficiency and renewable energy field for solving global climate change problem;
3. Removal barriers to development of market mechanisms in energy efficiency and renewable energy field:
4. Exchange of up-to-date technologies and share experience in energy efficiency and renewable energy field;
5. Capacity building and dissemination experience of financing schemes and tools implementation in energy efficiency and renewable energy field.
